Greek Catholic church of St. Archangel Michael (now the Roman Catholic church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus) was built in brick in 1875, on the site of a previous wooden temple. The new temple served the Lemko population until June 29, 1947, ie until the time when Lemkos were resettled in 1947 to the Regained Territories as a result of the military operation “Vistula” (condemned by the Polish Senate in 1990).

The current temple does not have a clearly defined style. The stone building was plastered. On the metal-covered roof there are two towers, one above the nave and the other above the chancel. The church has one extended nave, slightly widened in the central part. By the nave from the front there is a square tower, partly embedded in the body of the church, covered with a spherical dome. On the wall of the tower there is a commemorative plaque with the date of construction of the temple. Three domes crowning the church symbolize the Holy Trinity. The rectangular chancel with a separate sacristy is narrower than the nave. The interior of the church is covered with a flat ceiling.

Inside the church there is a late-classical iconostasis from around 1875 with icons from that period and a picture of the Heart of Jesus Christ from 1950. On the sides there are two late Baroque altars from the 18th century. In the right altar you can see a beautiful picture of the Crucifixion from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The church also has a pseudo-Baroque pulpit from the end of the 19th century, as well as organs transferred from the church in Milik. There are two bells in the tower, one from 1789 decorated with the scene of the Baptism of Jesus in Jordan, and images of Moses, Saint Stanislaus and the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the second bell from 1939.
