The Greek Catholic church of St. Archangel Michael in Dubno was founded in 1863 on the site of the temple from 1673 destroyed by fire. The name of the village of Dubne, as well as the Dubne peak (904 m a.s.l.) comes from the Lemko term for oak.
 The church was renovated in 1929. After the Lemkos were expelled from the area as part of the WISŁA military action (1947), the church was converted into a Roman Catholic church. The church was inscribed on the list of monuments in 1964, then it was also included in the Malopolska Wooden Architecture Trail. In the attic of the church there lives a rare in Europe bat species – a lesser horseshoe bat. To protect it the Pro Natura Society obtained funds from the European Union and the National Fund for Environmental Protection to co-finance the renovation of the church’s roofing, which was carried out in winter 2011, season that the horseshoes spend in caves.
Lemko’s Orthodox Church of Saint Archangel Michael representing the West Lemko style is a wooden building with a single-nave and triple structure, the tower has a pole-frame structure. The roof of the temple, tent-like over the nave, above the presbytery with a sloping (i.e. ridge) gable roof, multi-piling, covered with sheet metal and topped with three spherical towers with decorative lanterns. Inside, there are tent domes in the nave and the presbytery, a flat ceiling in the women’s gallery. The interior is decorated with ornamental and figural polychrome from the end of the 20th century. Rococo-Classicist iconostasis (i.e. a decorative wall covered with icons inside the church) by Antoni Bogdański, depicts the figural figures of saints: Saint Nicholas, Saint Michael, Mother of God with a Child, Teaching Christ, Saint Stephen and Saint Lawrence.
All equipment comes from the 19th century. The most valuable monument is the icon “Crucifixion and Christ Laid in His Grave”.
