CHURCH
IN ŁĘTOWO
In the 19th century, the church was equipped with an 8-stop organ built by Wacław Przybyłowicz. This was an outstanding organ builder and it is worth saying a little bit more about him. Wacław and his son Stanisław worked in the second half of the 19th century. Their workshop was located in Płock. They executed instruments playing, among others, in Niegów, Wierzbno, Jeruzal or in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in the Kampinos National Park.
At the end of the 19th century, a campanile was added to the church and after the war an extensive refurbishment took place during which the presbytery was rebuilt.
This charming wooden church is oriented and has a log structure. From the west, its square tower attracts attention and from the south, above the presbytery, a small ridge turret with a tin roof reminding of a helm.
In the 21st century the main altar as well as the side altars were renovated. New pews were put in the church, also the organ was refurbished and a new fence was built around the church.
